Bomb blasts rock Imphal, no casualty
Imphal: A powerful bomb exploded at Nagamapal Kangjabi Laikangbam Leikai, here on Monday night.
Police on Tuesday said no one was injured as there was no one in the area as it was almost midnight when the blast took place.
The impact of the blast could be heard in most of the Imphal area. Window panes, gate of a house were damaged.
CCTV footage of the area was surveyed and it was suspected that two persons who came in a two wheeler had dropped the bomb.
Bomb experts and police on Tuesday inspected the area and started a probe.
