Child dies, couple injured after car hits bike in Uttar Pradesh's Kaushambi
A child was killed and his parents were injured when a motorcycle was hit by a car in the Sheetla Kada Dham area of Kaushambi district here in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday, police sources said.
Police sources said that the incident took place when Rinku Gupta, along with his wife Seema and nine-year-old son Shiva, were going to Alipur.
"Near Deviganj, their motorcycle was hit by the car, killing Shiva on the spot," they said.
Police sources said that the couple had been admitted to the hospital.
"The car driver Hasseb, a resident of Fatehpur district, has been arrested, and an illicit firearm was recovered from his possession," they said.
