Chop off Amit Shah's head, says TMC MP Mahua Moitra, targeting Centre on infiltration, BJP calls her remark 'disgusting'
TMC MP Mahua Moitra has triggered a controversy over her remark against Amit Shah on the issue of illegal immigrants entering from Bangladesh, when she said the Union Home Minister's head should be chopped off and put on a table.

"If there is no one to protect India's borders and disrespecting our women or even taking away our lands, then Amit Shah should be beheaded and his severed head should be put on the table," Moitra was quoted as saying by the media.
BJP reacts
BJP National Spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari wrote on X: "Disgusting, Disgraceful!"

He further said: "That line from Mahua Moitra is beyond politics, it is pure hate speech, drenched in venom."
