Elon Musk X launches feature for recruiters and job seekers
Top professional networking platforms like LinkedIn could face a fresh contender as Elon Musk's social media platform X (previously known as Twitter) introduces a new feature that delves into the realm of professional networking.
X has launched a beta version of a hiring feature on its platform, signaling its entry into this space.
"Unlock early access to the X Hiring Beta — exclusively for Verified Organisations," X shared in a post on Saturday.

The post drew many responses from users, several of whom threw a wide range of queries about the brand-new feature while some expressed concerns about how the other social networking platforms will cope.
"Can it geo-filter? And filter using multiple criteria for search? That's a useful feature, jobs in a particular location sphere or completely online would be very helpful to see," one user asked.
"Is this feature for companies or candidates," another user posted.
"This will be more successful than LinkedIn without a doubt," a third user predicted.
"Rip Linkedln, indeed, zip recruiter, glassdoor," a fourth user wrote, stating that soon jobseekers would ditch the existing hiring sites for X Hiring.
Companies verified on X will need to dish out a monthly fee of nearly Rs 82,550 to run recruitment campaigns on their X profiles.
The new feature was launched days after reports stated that X was looking to introduce a job search feature.
