'Harrowing experience': Delhi bound IndiGo flight from Ayodhya lands in Chandigarh with 2-min fuel left
New Delhi/IBNS: In what has been described as a "harrowing experience" by onboard passengers, a Delhi bound IndiGo flight from Ayodhya landed in Chandigarh after diversion with only two-minute fuel left, media reports said.
The incident is dated to April 13.
After it failed to land at the Indira Gandhi International International Airport in Delhi twice, the pilot announced the plane's diversion to Chandigarh at 4:15 pm, 15 minutes prior to the scheduled landing time.
The pilot had announced the plane, which was unable to get landed in Delhi due to bad weather, had 45 minutes of Holding Fuel.
However, the flight managed to land in Chandigarh at 6:25 pm. The passengers got to know from the crew that the flight had only 2-minute fuel left when it landed.
One on-board passenger named Satish Kumar posted on X, "Had a harrowing experience yesterday with @IndiGo6E
