Himachal Pradesh's Mall Road murder case accused arrested at Hisar
Accused absconding after the crime and murder of a 21-year-old employee of a bakery here was nabbed by the police at Hisar, Haryana, on Tuesday, a senior officer said.
Satender Pal Singh, who was absconding after allegedly murdering the employee of Wake and Bake bakery on Monday night, was nabbed from his house in the neighbouring state on Monday.
The accused was wanted for the murder as well as theft of Rs 50,000 in cash.
The Shimla police constituted four teams, who successfully traced the accused and arrested him early on Tuesday.
The accused his alleged to have left the 21-year-old Manish in a pool of blood after attacking him with a chopping knife at 2 am on Monday morning in front of the police control room.
Satender, who was allegedly stealing cash from the cashbox of the bakery, is said to have attacked Manish, shen the latter tried to stop him from taking the cash.
The police saw the footage on the CCTV, and started the manhunt for the accused.
The accused is likely to be produced before Special Judge Shimla.
