India stands in solidarity with Russia: PM Modi condemns terrorist attack in Moscow
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday condemned the terrorist attack in the capital city of Russia, Moscow, and said, "India stands in solidarity with the government and the people of the Russian Federation in this hour of grief."
The incident took place on Friday night after a group of armed men stormed into Crocus City Hall concert venue in Moscow and opened fire and detonated explosives.
"We strongly condemn the heinous terrorist attack in Moscow. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims. India stands in solidarity with the government and the people of the Russian Federation in this hour of grief," PM Modi wrote on X.

As per the Russian Health Department, more than 60 people have been killed.
Health officials said about 145 people were injured, and about 60 of them were in critical condition.
Meanwhile, ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement posted by its Amaq news agency, saying its fighters had attacked the outskirts of Moscow, “killing and wounding hundreds and causing great destruction to the place before they withdrew to their bases safely.”
