Indian, Mongolian officials carry out comprehensive review of bilateral ties
Indian and Mongolian officials recently met when they carried out a comprehensive review of the bilateral relationship shared between the two nations.

Secretary (East) Jaideep Mazumdar represented the Indian side.
He met Munkhtushig Lkhanaajav, State Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Mongolia, on March 19.

"Both sides discussed further strengthening of India-Mongolia Strategic Partnership and maintaining high-level engagements," read a statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs.
"They took stock of cooperation in various sectors, including developmental partnership, education, IT, energy, connectivity, culture, capacity building, mining, defence and security," the statement said.
During the meeting, both sides agreed to carry out a series of commemorative activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
Both sides also agreed to formally upgrade the Foreign Office Constitutions (FOC) to Secretary-level.
The officials also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.

"Both sides carried out a comprehensive review of the bilateral relationship, agreed to maintain the momentum of high level exchanges & organize a series of commemorative activities to cerebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties," he said.
