Man who raped Pune techie was her friend, she herself took selfie with him: Cops
A suspect detained in connection with the alleged rape of a Pune IT professional at her home was not a stranger, rather her friend, who gained entry by posing as a courier delivery agent, police said on Friday.

The new information casts doubt on her version of the events.
It was the woman herself who took a selfie with him and typed a threatening message on her phone, police commissioner Amitesh Kumar told the media.
"They have known each other for a couple of years and belong to the same community," he said.
The 22-year-old woman had claimed that a man who posed as a courier delivery agent entered her flat in the Kondhwa area on Wednesday evening when she was alone, and forced himself on her.
She passed out, and when she regained consciousness, he was gone, she said.
The accused entered the society in the Kondhwa area of the city at around 7:30 pm on Wednesday.
Even as the woman said she hadn't ordered anything, the accused asked for a signature.
When the woman went inside the flat for a pen, the accused entered and locked the door.
The woman is not able to recall what happened after that.
The probe officers suspect the accused then sprayed something on the woman's face to make her unconscious and raped her.
The man also warned her not to report to the police with a message on her phone. He even clicked selfies and her photos threatening to leak them online if she reveals the incident.
Police are trying to nab the person, whose face was visible in the CCTV footage recovered from the area.
