Mumbai: Man found dead in front of house, wife strangled at home
Mumbai: A man was found dead on the road in front of his apartment in Mumbai’s Goregaon.

When his wife didn't answer her phone and the apartment door was locked, locals discovered a key on a necklace around his neck.
What followed was a grim revelation. Inside the apartment, his wife was also found dead.
The tragic events began early Friday morning when 58-year-old Kishore Pednekar's body was discovered on the road outside Topiwala Mansion in Jawahar Nagar.
Kishore, a gym equipment salesman, had reportedly jumped to his death.
Local residents alerted the police, and Kishore was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
As police tried to inform Kishore's wife, Rajshree, repeated calls went unanswered.
When they arrived at the apartment, they found the door locked from the inside.
Noticing two keys around Kishore's neck, they used them to unlock the apartment, revealing a more disturbing scene inside.
Rajshree, 57, was a therapist, according to the report. Police found her strangled in the hall of the house. Police rushed her to a hospital where the doctors declared her dead.
Police assume that Kishore strangled her to death before committing suicide.
Initial investigations indicate that Kishore, who was reportedly suffering from severe depression, had planned the deaths.
Police found numerous medications prescribed for depression and diabetes in his flat.
Before ending his life, he had booked a flight from Delhi to Mumbai for his son and sent detailed information about his bank accounts to a relative via WhatsApp.
The couple's son lives and works in Delhi. A case has been registered, and the investigation is ongoing.
