Ola scooter user places a placard on vehicle to urge people not to buy it

An Ola scooter owner has expressed her frustration over her EV in an unconventional style by placing a placard in the front of her vehicle where she urged people not to buy it.


She said she was facing trouble with the eclectic vehicle.

The owner was identified as Nisha Gowri.

She shared an image of her vehicle with the placard on it on micro-blogging site X and warned people from buying it.

The Bengaluru resident wrote on X: "I will Be Spreading Awareness Against Ola Electric  Thanks For The Idea @UppinaKai Sir."

Sharing here after sales service experience of the scooter, the customer wrote on the platform: "Ola Service Fraud Alert Visited @OlaElectric Service Centre Yesterday evening for This Dabba scooter repair.Their Technicians are untrained and Clueless about the Ola Issues!After waiting for 1.5 hours they Repaired our vehicle But when we were returning home it broke down."

In another post, she wrote: "The Day When My Problems Started!!! If You Really Want To Buy a Vehicle My Humble Request is Please Don’t Buy @OlaElectric Unless you want to Ruin your Peace of Mind!!"

Several netizens shared their experience of buying the EV scooter in the comment section, triggering a debate over the vehicle.

One user wrote: "This lady deserves a standing ovation. Ola has degraded so badly as a company in the last few years. Worst EV (except China, IYKYK)."

 Another said: "Same here. Below 50km it drops all of a sudden to no charge left. And also while riding on harsh road, it makes dabba noice.."

"Thanks for update otherwise I planned to book this vehicle in next month. Now I have review other vehicles," a netizen said.

Unhappy Ola scooter user sets showroom on fire

In Bengaluru, another user, who was unhappy with the service and performance of the Ola scooter, set a showroom on fire in Kalaburagi.

Police had arrested and taken the man in custody.

The arrested person was identified as Mohammad Nadeem.

He was reportedly disappointed with the repeated alleged poor repair of the vehicle.

In a fit of rage, he set the showroom on fire.

The fire caused extensive damage, destroying multiple vehicles, spare parts, and various pieces of equipment. The estimated cost of the damage is approximately Rs 8.5 lakh, Indian news agency UNI reported.

He was later arrested by the police.
