Opposition cannot topple Congress govt: Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar
Bengaluru/UNI: A day after Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar claimed that a conspiracy is being hatched to topple the Congress government outside the country, he said on Tuesday that the opposition cannot do it as theirs is a very strong and stable government.

"They (Opposition) cannot do destabilisation or anything. But they are working out some political strategy for their political benefit," he told a section of media here.
Asked if this conspiracy succeeded, Shivakumar said, "Nothing will work. It is not a part for anyone to break it. It is a strong, stable government."
Meanwhile, Karnataka JDS President CM Ibrahim said they don't have any such plan, and also there are not enough numbers to topple the government even after both opposition party leaders join hands.
"We do not have such a plan. Shivakumar can directly meet me if he has some doubts. Even if we (JDS and BJP) join hands, our numbers will go up to 85 (seats). We will still need 50 (seats). Why do you (Congress) worry about it? Fulfill your promises," he said.
