Parliament security breach case: Delhi Court extends judicial custody of all 6 accused
New Delhi/IBNS/UNI: A Delhi court Friday extended the judicial custody of all the six accused arrested in connection with the Parliament security breach case.
The court listed all the applications of the accused, who levelled serious allegations against Delhi Police, for a hearing on March 11.
This case pertains to a security breach on the anniversary of the Parliament attack on December 13, 2023. Following the same, police arrested the accused Manoranjan, Neelam Azad, Sagar Sharma, Amol Shinde, Lalit Jha, and Mahesh Kumawat.
Counsel for accused Neelam Azad submitted before the court that she was suffering from back pain but was not provided the medicine by the jail authority. Neelam had earlier submitted before the court that a woman police officer had got her signature on a blank paper forcefully.
Government Counsel has objected to the allegations levelled by Neelam against the police officer.
After the hearing, the court directed her counsel to move an appropriate application seeking orders to jail authorities and adjourned the matter for arguments on March 11. The court directed the police to file the reply on the applications of the accused.
