Piyush Goyal meets Starlink delegation, discusses company's future investment plans in India
Indian Minister Piyush Goyal recently met a delegation representing entrepreneur Elon Musk-owned Starlink, when they discussed their existing partnerships and future investment plans in India.
Speaking about the meeting, Goyal wrote on X: "Met a delegation from @Starlink , comprising of Vice President Chad Gibbs & Senior Director, Ryan Goodnight. "
"Discussions covered Starlink's cutting-edge technology platform, their existing partnerships & future investment plans in India," he said.
Airtel and Jio, India's major private telecom operators, recently partnered with Starlink to bring its high-speed satellite internet services to their customers in the South Asian nation.
The development occurred just days after US President Donald Trump inauguration for the second term took place.
Elon Musk is a close aide of Trump.

As per the official website, Starlink is the world's first and largest satellite constellation using a low Earth orbit to deliver broadband internet capable of supporting streaming, online gaming, video calls and more
