Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer shortly after arriving in Austria following his two-day visit to Russia.
Modi posted a few images of his meeting with the Chancellor on his X handle.
Sharing the images, he wrote on X: "Thank you, Chancellor@karlnehammer , for the warm welcome. I look forward to our discussions tomorrow as well. Our nations will continue working together to further global good."

This is the first trip of an Indian PM to Austria in 40 years.
Earlier in the day, Austrian Foreign MinisterAlexander Schallenberg welcomed Modi to Austria after he landed at the airport.

After landing in Vienna, Modi posted on X: " Landed in Vienna. This visit to Austria is a special one. Our nations are connected by shared values and a commitment to a better planet.
