Punjab: Police bust terror module ahead of Independence Day, 3 arrested
Chandigarh: Punjab Police have busted a terror module with the arrest of three associates of Czech-based Gurdev Singh alias Jaisal, a key operative of Canada-based terrorist Lakhbir alias Landa and Satbir Singh alias Satta, who were behind RPG attack on Sarhali Police station and numerous plots to commit targeted killings in Punjab.
During preliminary investigations, the accused revealed a conspiracy to disrupt peace and harmony in the state.
Police have seized three pistols along with cash from the accused, DGP Gourav Yadav said on Sunday.
He said the case has been registered.
