Saif Ali Khan stabbing: Suspect still on run, had changed clothes after attacking actor
Mumbai/IBNS: A new CCTV footage of the suspect who attacked actor Saif Ali Khan at his Bandra home has surfaced on Friday, media reports said. The attacker is still on the run.

The timestamp in the CCTV grab indicated the suspect was fleeing after attacking the actor with a knife.
Later, the same suspect was seen in new clothes - a blue shirt - at Bandra railway station, media reports said.
Saif Ali Khan, 54, is being treated at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital, where he was taken by his son after the attack by an intruder in the early hours of Thursday. He suffered multiple wounds.
"We are observing his progress and he is doing excellently well according to our expectations. As per his progress, we have advised him bed rest and if he is comfortable, then in two to three days we will discharge him," said Dr Nitin Dange, neurosurgeon at Lilavati Hospital, adding a team of doctors checked on him and made him walk.
The actor has been moved out of the intensive care unit (ICU) and "we are shifting him to a special room," the neurosurgeon, who led the team of doctors who operated on Saif Ali Khan, said.
"Khan had three injuries, two on the hand and one on the right side of the neck. And the major part was at the back, which was in the spine, thoracic spine we call. A sharp object was lodged inside, which has gone very deep, touching the dura and the spinal cord, but it has not damaged the spinal cord," Dr Dange said.
Doctors have removed the sharp object.
CCTV footage from the stairs at Saif Ali Khan's home clearly showed the suspect wearing a red scarf and carrying a backpack.
The suspect scurried down the stairs from the sixth floor of 'Satguru Sharan' building, where the Khans live, at 2.30 am.
No arrest has been made so far. over 30 teams have been formed to track and arrest the suspect.
Maharashtra Minister of State for Home (Urban) Yogesh Kadam said robbery was the motive behind the attack and added no underworld gang was involved.
Saif's son from his previous marriage, Ibrahim Ali Khan, and a caretaker reportedly took the bleeding actor to hospital. He was stabbed at around 2:30 am on the night of the incident.
According to police reports, a housemaid initially noticed a shadow near the bathroom and assumed it was Kareena Kapoor checking on their younger son Jeh.
Suspicious, she moved closer to investigate, only to be attacked by a man aged 35–40 wielding a sharp weapon.
The intruder threatened her to stay quiet and demanded Rs 1 crore.
During this altercation, a second housemaid entered and questioned the intruder, further escalating the situation.
Hearing the commotion, Saif Ali Khan reached the spot and confronted the assailant.
A scuffle ensued, during which the actor sustained injuries at six different points on his body.
Amid the fight, a sharp weapon broke and a fragment remained lodged in his body.
As there was no driver available at the time, Saif's family called his son Ibrahim Ali Khan for assistance.
Ibrahim and his sister Sara Ali Khan, who live on the 8th floor of the same building, rushed to help.
However, unfamiliarity with the family’s automatic electric vehicle forced them to take Saif to Lilavati Hospital in an auto-rickshaw.
The incident has raised questions about security measures in the building, as the police continue their investigation into the break-in.
