Security forces bust LeT terror module in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam
Security forces busted a Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) "terror module" with the arrest of four terrorist associates and recovered arms and ammunition in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir’, Police said on Sunday.
Acting on a case registered under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) UA(P) Act, Jammu and Kashmir Police along with 1 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and 18Bn Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) arrested four terrorist associates and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession in Kulgam.
The Terrorist associates have been identified as Zahoor Ahmad Pandit, Basir Hussain Pandit, Imtiyaz Gull, and Gulzar Ahmad Khar all residents of Wanpora.
One Pistol, two Pistol magazines, 20 Pistol rounds, 4 UBGs, and 24 INSAS Rounds have been recovered from their possession, police said.
Further investigation is going on as more arrests and recoveries are expected in the case, they added.
