Telangana: Unknown assailants kill elderly couple
Kamareddy: In a shocking and brutal incident, an elderly couple was murdered at their residence in Rythunagar, Beerkur Mandal, Telangana, at midnight on Tuesday.
According to the police, the victims, identified as Narayana (70) and Sulochana, were running a kirana shop and living in Rythunagar.
The assailants gained entry into their house through the backside and mercilessly attacked the couple. Narayana was beaten to death, and his wife Sulochana was hanged from the ceiling.
The next morning, their close relative, Krishnamurthy, visited their house, where he discovered their lifeless bodies and immediately informed the police.
Upon reaching the crime scene, the police registered a case and commenced their investigation.
Further investigation is underway, the police added.
