On the occasion of his birthday, Aamir Khan introduced his girlfriend to the media during an informal gathering in Mumbai.
Their relationship has drawn attention, especially given their long history and recent reconnection.
Aamir and Gauri first crossed paths 25 years ago but lost touch over time.
They reconnected a couple of years ago and have been in a relationship for the past 18 months.
Addressing the media, Aamir had playfully noted how well they had kept their romance under wraps, saying, "See, I didn’t let you guys find out, did I?"
Aamir shared that his children and family have met Gauri and are supportive of their relationship.
He humorously referenced his 2001 film Lagaan, saying, "Bhuvan has finally found his Gauri."
Aamir's marital journey
Before his relationship with Gauri, Aamir was married twice. He first wed Reena Dutta, with whom he shares two children, Junaid and Ira. Later, he married filmmaker Kiran Rao, and they have a son, Azad.
Though Aamir and Kiran announced their separation a few years ago, they maintain an amicable relationship, co-parenting their son and working together professionally.
