Abir Chatterjee, Mimi Chakraborty set for onscreen pair debut with Nandita Roy-Shiboprosad Mukherjee's puja release
Kolkata/IBNS: Senior Bengali actors Abir Chatterjee and Mimi Chakraborty are all set to feature as an onscreen pair or as "hero-heroine" in their words for the first time with Windows Production's upcoming film.
The film, which is slated for the Durga Puja release, was announced by the two actors on Thursday.
Announcing the project, Abir says, "It took a bit of time for me and Mimi to feature as hero-heroine onscreen but thanks to Windows for considering us."
Mimi, an actor-MP, says, "The film will be releasing this puja. We promise to bring a world class film."
However, the actors remained mum on the title of the film, which will be directed by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee.
The film will go on floors soon.
