Amid divorce rumours, Abhishek Bachchan skips Aishwarya's family gathering

The image from the celebration was shared on reddit and it went viral in no time and  users spotted Abhishek's absence.

The picture seems to be shared by Aishwarya's cousin, who celebrated his birthday and thanked fans, followers.

In the picture, Aishwarya poses with daughter Aaradhya, who wears a school uniform. The picture garnered a whole lot of love from the Internet.

A user wrote, "Love how everyone is dressed so humbly, nothing too flashy or over the top. Cute picture." Another comment read, "Her cousin's family looks very simple and humble. It's nice that she's maintained these ties."

Speculations about Aishwarya and Abhishek heading for a divorce has been doing rounds for some time.

Reports even claimed that Aishwarya was having problems with her in-laws and had relocated from the Bachchan family.

Aishwarya attending Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding ceremony in July earlier this year with her daughter Aaradhya and Abhishek separately entering the venue with his family added fuel to the fire.

However, later speaking to a UK media, Abhishek dismissed all rumours and said he is "still married".

"I don't have to say anything to you all about that. I think you all have blown the entire thing out of proportion, sadly. But I understand why you do it. You all have to file some stories. It’s okay, we’re celebrities, we have to take it. Still married, sorry."

He showed off his wedding ring to dismiss the rumours.

However, prior to that, he grabbed attention for liking an Instagram post related to divorce. The text on the post read, "When love stops being easy."

Abhishek and Aishwarya tied the knot in a grand ceremony in 2007 and welcomed their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan in 2011. The grand wedding was hosted at Abhishek's father, megastar Amitabh Bachchan's Juhu bungalow named Prateeksha. The couple welcomed their first child — Aaradhya — in November 2011.
