'Baby John, Bhabhi jaan': Varun Dhawan narrates how he protected Keerthy Suresh when other heroes asked for her number
Mumbai/IBNS: Actress Keerthy Suresh, who primarily works in south Indian languages, has made her debut in the Hindi film industry with Baby John, which hit the big screens on December 25 on the occasion of Christmas.

Keerthy made her debut starring alongside Varun Dhawan and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead.
The onscreen chemistry between Varun and Keerthy is electrifying in the song Nain Matakka from the film, which is directed by Kalees.
In a recent interview, Varun revealed marriage played a role in his bonding with Keerthy.
In an interview with Filmfare Middle East, the actor said, "She was preparing for marriage, I was married. From earlier, she was like, when I become a wife, I will be this type of wife and look at her what kind of wife she has played in the film. She is the wife of the year." Keerthy said, "Kuch bhi!"
When Varun said no one was aware of Keerthy's relationship, the 'Mahanati' actress responded, "People very close to me, they knew. Atlee and his wife, Varun knew from the time I met him, from two years. Otherwise, a lot of my very close friends knew, but we try to keep it very private."
Varun, who has been working in Bollywood for more than a decade, revealed how he used to "protect" Keerthy from heroes who used to ask for her number.
"In Mumbai, when we were shooting… so many people would message me about her, so many heroes. I can’t be like, 'Here’s her number, let’s meet,' because eventually, it’s my responsibility to take care of her. So the joke is Baby John, Bhabhi jaan," he said.
Earlier in December, Keerthy tied the knot with his longtime boyfriend Antony Thattil in Goa.
Apart from the trio, Baby John features Jackie Shroff, Rajpal Yadav and Zara Zyanna in key roles.
