Border 2 fever grips nation as Mona Singh shares BTS moments
Border 2 has been winning over audiences across the country since its release on Friday, rekindling the patriotic fervour and buzz created by the original Border in 1997.
Sharing her happiness over the film’s positive reception, actor Mona Singh, who plays Sunny Deol’s wife in the movie, posted a series of behind-the-scenes photographs on social media.
“Thank u for all the love. Border 2 now in theatres near u,” Singh wrote on Instagram.
The first image shared by the actor featured a black-and-white photograph of Singh with Sunny Deol. Another picture showed her alongside Guneet Sandhu, who plays her son in the film. Singh also posted additional images from the film’s sets as well as from a special screening.
Border 2 has opened to a positive box office response and is expected to post strong collections over the extended weekend, with Republic Day (January 26) falling on Monday.
Released in 2026, Border 2 is a Hindi-language epic action war film, co-written and directed by Anurag Singh. A standalone sequel to J.P. Dutta’s 1997 blockbuster Border, the film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta and Nidhi Dutta under the banners of T-Series Films and J.P. Films.
