Sukhbir Singh’s iconic track Ishq Tera Tadpave has been a staple at Indian celebrations for decades since its release in 1999. Now, the evergreen song has caught the attention of another international music sensation.
During the recent T20 World Cup final, global pop star Ricky Martin was seen dancing to the electrifying number in a video shared by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on Instagram.
The ICC posted clips showing Martin grooving to the popular Punjabi track, delighting fans across social media.
Ricky Martin, Sukhbir Singh, and Gujarati singer Aditya Gadhvi had earlier delivered a spectacular performance during the closing ceremony of the grand T20 event held in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
While Martin’s on-stage performance was widely appreciated, it is now a behind-the-scenes moment that is grabbing headlines online.
In the videos shared by the ICC, the international pop star can be seen enthusiastically enjoying Sukhbir’s hit song.
Reacting to the clips, Sukhbir said, “It is so nice seeing you, Ricky Martin, dancing to a song which is mine. I hope you had an amazing time in India.”
Released in 1999, Ishq Tera Tadpave has remained a timeless party anthem and continues to be a favourite at weddings and celebrations across India, particularly in the northern regions.
