The actors followed the trends of several B-Town couples who preferred to keep the identity of their children hidden.

Deepika and Ranveer, who are massively popular Hindi films actors, turned parents in September 2024.

They took to social media on November 1 on the occasion of Diwali to reveal the first glimpse of their daughter.

They revealed the reason behind naming their daughter Dua.

"'Dua' : meaning a Prayer. Because She is the Answer to our Prayers. Our hearts are filled with Love & Gratitude," the couple wrote in the post.

On the work front, both Deepika and Ranveer were last seen in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again, which released in Diwali.

Ranveer will next feature in Farhan Akhtar's Don 3, starring alongside Kiara Advani.

Deepika featured in three blockbusters- Fighter, Kalki 2898 AD and Singham Again- in 2024.
