Hoichoi unveils trailer of Aditi Roy's upcoming web series Noshtoneer starring Sandipta Sen
Kolkata/IBNS: Bengali Over-the-top (OTT) platform Hoichoi unveiled the trailer of its upcoming web series by director Aditi Roy, Noshtoneer on Tuesday.

The social drama featuring actor Sandipta Sen, revolves around a married woman Aparna Gangopadhyay (played by Sandipta), solicitous to the happiness of her family, and how her life starts crumbling when her husband is hit with #Metoo allegations creating a rift in the family she has cared for.
The trailer touches upon key points pertaining to relevant issues of society that writer Samragnee Bandyopadhyay highlights in this high octane drama boasting strong messages such as "#whatisconsent" and "#jointheconversation."

Alongside Sandipta Sen, the web series features Shoumo Banerjee, Angana Roy, Rooqma Ray and Anindya Chatterjee in pivotal roles.
In a few words about her new show, Sandipta said, "This character is extremely special to me and portraying it was very challenging. The look is completely different to what I have presented before and I was able to pull it off with a lot of help…
"These kinds of stories are very important and it has been told so beautifully through this series."

To describe the importance of the message behind the film, Shoumo said, "The series deals with social/humanitarian issues and if we can address them through our work to bring about even the slightest change in people, our work will gain value."
Noshtoneer will premiere on Hoichoi on June 9.
