Hoichoi unveils trailer of Sandipta Sen starrer upcoming web series Birangana
Kolkata/IBNS: The trailer of Hoichoi's upcoming web series Birangana was unveiled on Wednesday.
Directed by Nirjhar Mitra, the crime-thriller features Sandipta Sen and Niranjan Mondal who is also known as Laughtersane.
The series is about a serial killer (Niranjan Mondal), who is targeting newly married women, abducting and murdering them, creating chaos in Kolkata.

Chitra Basu (Sandipta Sen), a fearless and ambitious police officer, investigates the case and determines to prove herself in a patriarchal police system.
Sandipta Sen said, “I had a very special experience with this film. The entire team has worked so well and hard that I think the audience would love it. The character I played was very challenging and I cannot afford to do anything wrong with it.”

Newbie actor Niranjan Mondal said, “My character is a very well behaved and well spoken person. But he has been seen murdering women in this series. I personally am experiencing a mixed feeling, but the entire team made me feel like home that I didn't feel this was my first project.”

The launch event was also witnessed by the women's team of Kolkata Police, along with their felicitation.
The series is set to premiere on Hoichoi on July 25.
