As she is gearing up for her tour to India where she visited in 2019 for the only time, Dua Lipa shared her excitement in a recent interview.

Speaking to Bombay Times, Dua said, "I always love an excuse to come to India. It is such a beautiful country, and I have tons of fond memories from visiting. With all my shows, I’m always wanting to create a fun and energetic space to reconnect with so many of my fans that I have not been able to see in so long."

In the course of the interview, the three-time Grammy Award winner revealed who is her favourite actor in the Hindi film industry, which is also called Bollywood.

Dua picked superstar Shah Rukh Khan as her favourite, recounting how she was "blown away" by the mashup of her song, Levitating, and a Hindi track, Woh Ladki Jo featuring the 59-year-old Indian actor and actress Twinkle Khanna.

A social media user had created the mashup which went viral on the internet.

The 'New Rules' singer said, "I was blown away when I first heard the mashup of Woh Ladki Jo and Levitating. It was amazing!"

She added, "I love Shah Rukh Khan!"

In 2024, Dua Lipa, who will perform in Mumbai on November 30, released her third studio album, Radical Optimism.

Five years ago, Dua Lipa had met Shah Rukh Khan when she visited India for a music festival. Dua had also shared a snap with SRK on her social media.

She wrote on X, "So fun hanging with @iamsrk today! Thank you for teaching me your Bollywood moves!!"

SRK too shared the pictures with Dua writing on X, " Have decided to live by ‘New Rules’ and who better to learn them from but @DUALIPA herself!! What a charming and beautiful young lady....& her voice!! Wish her all my love for the concert tonight. Dua if you can, try the steps I taught u on stage."

Sharing some pictures from her last India visit, Dua Lipa earlier this year had announced, "India, I’m coming back!! my trip at the start of this year was a beautiful reminder of how much I love this place. The warmth and energy I felt from everyone I met there was amazing, and I can’t wait to see you again to perform in November!!!!"

India’s moment has arrived on the world stage: Ranveer Singh on Dhurandhar

Ranveer Singh opens up about stepping into a raw, unapologetic Indian character in his latest film Dhurandhar, calling it “India’s moment on the world stage.” From sharing the screen with 'prodigy' Sara Arjun to witnessing R. Madhavan’s masterclass in prosthetics, he reveals the magic behind a story that’s gripping, credible, and massy without trying. IBNS-TWF correspondent Souvik Ghosh reports on the actor's take on the film which courted controversy over his character amid the widespread public belief that it is based on the life and heroic undercover operations of Major Mohit Sharma, AC, SM, and the subsequent legal action taken by the late Major's family.
