The couple, who were reportedly dating for quite some time, exchanged vows and rings at the Linga Bhairavi Temple inside the Isha Foundation campus in Tamil Nadu.

Pictures shared on social media showed Samantha wearing a bright red silk saree with gold zari work along the borders and pallu. She accessorised with traditional gold jewellery, including bangles, a necklace and earrings. Her hair was styled in a neatly tied bun adorned with white gajra flowers.

Raj, who was previously married to Shhyamali De, opted for a cream-coloured kurta–pyjama paired with a golden beige Nehru jacket, keeping his look simple and traditional for the temple ceremony.

Samantha, one of India’s leading actresses, was earlier married to Telugu film star Naga Chaitanya.

Speculation about Samantha and Raj’s relationship surfaced around 2023 following their collaborations on The Family Man and Citadel: Honey Bunny, with several public appearances and posts fuelling dating rumours.

According to media reports, Raj and his former wife had already separated before reports of his relationship with Samantha emerged.

Raj Nidimoru, one half of the director duo Raj & DK, co-directed Citadel: Honey Bunny, featuring Samantha in a lead role.

Samantha is currently shooting for Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom, co-starring Aditya Roy Kapur, with Raj reportedly associated with the project as well.
