Jio Studios announces collaboration with SVF in Bengali films
Kolkata/IBNS: Jio Studios, the media and content arm of Reliance Industries Ltd and Kolkata-based film production house SVF Entertainment have joined forces to bring their cinematic expertise to the Bengali market through a long-term partnership.
The collaboration aims to produce a multitude of blockbuster films in the years to come, creating new opportunities for fresh talent and elevating Bengali language content to unprecedented heights.
The partnership will draw on the strengths of both companies, combining Jio's technology and digital infrastructure with SVF's rich legacy in Bengali cinema.
The upcoming projects of the collaboration are Dhrubo Banerjee's Bhogla Mama (August 2023), Srijit Mukherji's Dawshom Awbotaar (October 2023), Suman Ghosh's Kabuliwala (December 2023), Arno Mukhopadhyay's Athhoi (January 2024) and an untitled by Raj Chakraborty (2024).
