Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor's Devara: Part 1 becomes second biggest opener of 2024
Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Telugu film Devara minted Rs. 77 crore in India on the opening day but lagged behind the collection of Nag Ashwin's Kalki 2898 AD.
As per a report by Sacnilk.com, Devara earned Rs. 77 crore in India and Rs. 140 crore worldwide.
Among Rs. 77 crore, Devara earned Rs. 68.6 crore in Telugu, Rs. 7 crore in Hindi, Rs. 0.3 crore in Kannada, Rs. 0.8 crore in Tamil and Rs. 0.3 crore in Malayalam.
Kalki 2898 AD had minted Rs. 95 crore in India and Rs. 177.70 crore worldwide.
Devara, which is directed by Koratala Siva, also features Saif Ali Khan, Shruti Marathe, Prakash Raj, Srikanth in key roles.
The film, which features Jr NTR in double roles, was released on big screens on September 27.
