'Long wait ends': Srijit Mukherji's Feluda Pherot: Jawto Kando Kathmandute set for release
Kolkata/IBNS: Feluda Pherot: Jawto Kando Kathmandute, the second season of Srijit Mukherji's Addatimes web series Feluda Pherot, is set to release on the occasion of Durga Puja in 2025.
The makers announced it, launching the official poster of the second season on the occasion of maestro Satyajit Ray's 104th birth anniversary on May 2.
Feluda Pherot: Jawto Kando Kathmandute is based on Satyajit Ray's popular detective novel series.
"Feluda Pherot: Jawto Kando Kathmandute, which is actually my second work on Feluda, would have been released five years ago. But I am thankful to Addatimes and Surinder Films for the release which is anyway delayed. The release after such a long wait is itself a huge thing for me," Srijit, who last year announced Feludar Goyendagiri 2: Bhuswargo Bhoyonkor was his last work on Feluda, said.
"I am happy to have one of my favourite Feluda stories to mark the end of my direction when it comes to works on Feluda," said the director.

The series made its debut with Chhinnamastar Abhishap in 2020.
As Tota Roychowdhury is returning as Feluda, Anirban Chakrabarti and Kalpan Mitra are back as Jatayu and Topshe respectively in Feluda Pherot: Jawto Kando Kathmandute.
"We are happy to launch the poster on Ray's birthday at his residence and that too by his son, Sandip Ray. I can't express the feeling in words. This is one of Ray's best works on Feluda," said Tota speaking to the media.
Satyajit Ray's son Sandip Ray, who launched the poster at the maestro's house in South Kolkata, told media, "I am very happy that we could launch the poster on this special day. It was overdue."
