Mithun Chakraborty, Ankush Hazra starrer Dance Bangla Dance 12 high on TV ratings
Kolkata/IBNS: Bollywood veteran Mithun Chakraborty's return to the popular Bengali dance reality show, Dance Bangla Dance, was stormy with the programme giving a stiff challenge to other daily soaps in terms of ratings.
The show, which is aired only on weekends on Zee Bangla, has registered 7.6 TVR.
Among the daily soaps which top the rating chart are Anurager Chowa (9.3 TVR), Jagaddhatri (9 TVR), Gouri Elo (8.6).

The 12th season of Dance Bangla Dance is hosted by Bengali actor Ankush Hazra while Chakraborty returns as Mahaguru or MG.
The star-studded panel of judges include actors Subhashree Ganguly, Srabanti Chatterjee and Mouni Roy.
Elated at the TV ratings, Ankush tweeted, "#DanceBanglaDance has hit the ball out of the stadium.. TRP- 7.6 .. super happy and proud for the entire team.. love u guyz .. and thank u our audience for the immense love .."

As per reports, the makers of the show are turning no stone unturned to elevate the entertainment quotient driving more audience to get glued to the television screens on the weekends.
