Move over Hanu-Man, Prasanth Varma unveils Bhoomi Shetty's fiery avatar in Mahakali
Filmmaker Prasanth Varma, who is widely known for his film Hanu-Man, on Thursday unveiled the first look of upcoming film Mahakali.

The first look introduces actress Bhoomi Shetty playing the titular character.
Bhoomi is seen with a face covered with shades of red and gold with fierceness.

According to a report by The Times of India, 50 percent of the shooting for Mahakali has already been completed while the rest is currently underway on a massive set constructed in Hyderabad.
Directed by Puja Kolluru, the film is described as India’s first female superhero film in that universe, with the lead character inspired by the goddess Kali.
The production banner is RKD Studios, with producer Riwaz Ramesh Duggal.
As per reports, the film will be released in IMAX 3D and in multiple languages.
Recently, actor Akshaye Khanna marked his Telugu debut joinung the cast in the key role of Shukracharya.
