Nandita Roy-Shiboprosad Mukherjee's Aamar Boss starring Raakhee Gulzar earns official entry into 55th IFFI
Kolkata/IBNS: Amid the successful run of their last Bengali film Bohurupi, filmmaker duo Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee's next project, Aamar Boss, has earned an official entry into the 55th edition of International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
The film features acting icon Raakhee Gulzar in the lead alongside Shiboprosad Mukherjee.
"It’s an incredible honor to see both Bohurupi and Aamar Boss celebrated in such meaningful ways," shared Nandita Roy-Shiboprosad Mukherjee.
"We’ve always believed in the power of Bengali cinema to connect universally, and these achievements reaffirm that vision."
Aamar Boss will be released in theatres this December.
Bohurupi, an action chase drama, features Abir Chatterjee, Ritabhari Chakraborty, Koushani Mukherjee and Shiboprosad Mukherjee in the lead.
The film, which is a gripping confrontation between a dacoit and a determined police officer.
While the dacoit is played by Shiboprosad, Abir features as a cop.
