Nagpur/IBNS: Bollywood star Ranveer Singh, currently riding high on the success of Dhurandhar: The Revenge, made a surprise visit to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh headquarters in Nagpur on Friday, media reports said.
According to reports, Singh arrived at the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport around 4 pm along with four others before heading straight to the RSS headquarters.
Details of the visit remain limited, but he is said to have discussed his upcoming project Dhurandhar: The Revenge and also familiarised himself with the functioning of the organisation.
He reportedly spent around 90 minutes at the premises before leaving for another location.
The RSS is widely regarded as the ideological parent of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Singh’s low-key visit has sparked speculation, especially amid the strong box office performance of his film.
Even without any official statement, the optics of a major Bollywood star visiting the RSS headquarters carry symbolic weight.
Such interactions are often seen as a convergence of popular culture and influential ideological institutions, triggering debate and curiosity in public discourse.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is a nearly four-hour-long film blending high-octane action with political drama.
Released on March 19, the film features Singh as a powerful figure who takes control of Pakistan’s Lyari town following the death of gangster Rehman Dakait, played by Akshaye Khanna.
The trailer also hints at Singh portraying dual roles—Jaskirat Singh Rangi and Hamza—adding further depth to the narrative.
