SVF unveils trailer of Mithun Chakraborty starrer Shontaan
Kolkata/IBNS: The trailer of filmmaker Raj Chakraborty's Shontaan, starring veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty in the lead, was unveiled on Friday.
The film is set against a backdrop of familial love, moral dilemmas, and the strength of intergenerational bonds.
The trailer opens with a compelling courtroom scene, where emotions run high and stakes are raised.
Apart from Mithun Chakraborty, the ensemble cast includes Ritwick Chakraborty, Subhashree Ganguly, alongside Anashua Majumdar, Kharaj Mukherjee, Sohini Sengupta, and Ahona Dutta.
The music of the film is done by Jeet Gannguli which enhances the depth of the storytelling.
The film is a soulful journey through the unspoken bonds that hold families together—especially in a world where traditional values meet the challenges of modern-day life.
Raj Chakraborty said, "Shontaan is not just a film. It’s a reflection of the silent sacrifices, the strength of forgiveness, and the enduring love between parents and children."
The film is scheduled to be released in December 2024.
