Tomar Ghawre Bawshot Kawre song from Srijit Mukherji's Shotyi Bole Shotyi Kichhu Nei launched
Kolkata/IBNS: Tomar Ghawre Bawshot Kawre, the song from Srijit Mukherji's upcoming Bengali film Shotyi Bole Shotyi Kichhu Nei, was launched on Friday.
The track comes to life through the enchanting voice of Rapurna Bhattacharyya.
Originally written and composed by the talented Zahid Ahmed, the song has been expertly rearranged by Amit Chatterjee, blending traditional melodies with modern rhythms to create a musical masterpiece.
The music sets the stage in the film, with a compelling sequence led by Kaushik Ganguly, who carries a narration of judgment in his mind as the story unfolds with the remarkable performances of the cast.
At the core of Shotyi Bole Shotyi Kichhu Nei is a stellar ensemble cast of outstanding actors: Kaushik Ganguly, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Phalguni Chatterjee, Kaushik Sen, Anirban Chakrabarti, Rahul Banerjee, Ananya Chatterjee, Sauraseni Maitra, Kanchan Mullick, Ritwick Chakraborty, Arjun Chakrabarty and Suhotra Mukhopadhyay.
Sharing his thoughts, director Srijit Mukherji said, "Tomar Ghawre Bawshot Kawre holds a unique place in the film's story.
"Zahid Ahmed’s original composition has an everlasting charm, and with Rapurna’s soulful voice and Amit’s innovative arrangement, the song has been elevated to new heights. We are excited to present it to our audience."
The film is slated to release on January 23, 2025.
