Unbroken talks about personal losses: Ushoshi Sengupta
Kolkata/IBNS: Former Miss Universe India and model-actress Ushoshi Sengupta ventured into film production with Ayan Sil's Unbroken, which deals with mental health issues.
Starring a meaty line of actors, Unbroken, a short film, was screened at a pub in Kolkata's popular mall earlier this week.
Speaking to IBNS, Ushoshi shared that she collaborated with 'best friend' Ayan on the project, which helped her to channelise her pent up feelings after undergoing a personal loss some weeks ago.

She says, "I collaborated on this with Ayan because I was also going through difficult times in my personal life 1-1.5 months ago. I felt this project was the way for me to come out of the situation and make peace with it. This is why Unbroken is special to me.
"The story is about our individual losses. Hope people will realise that they are never alone in life but have support which can be found."
Ushoshi, who has been working on mental health related issues for several years, was sure of working with only close people on a project dealing with such a sensitive topic.
"I am not sure whether I could have collaborated with anyone else. Ayan is my best friend so it was easy for me to work with him because certain emotions can only be realised by people who are close to us," the 35-year-old, who is also the co-creator of Unbroken, said.

The music is composed by Kuntal De and penned by Nilesh bhattacharya.
