Veer-Zaara continues to win hearts a week after re-release, enters Rs. 100 club
Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta's iconic Veer-Zaara still continues to win hearts and following its re-release the movie crossed Rs 100 crore at the global box office, as per trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

The movie was re-released on September 13.
Film critic Taran Adarsh posted on X: "'VEER ZAARA' CROSSES ₹ CR *WORLDWIDE GROSS* ON RE-RELEASE... Released in very few cinemas [282] and with limited showings, the timeless classic #VeerZaara - originally released in 2004 - fares very well in its *re-release*."

He said: "As it enters Week 2 [203 cinemas], #VeerZaara should attract substantial foot traffic on #NationalCinemaDay, with tickets priced at ₹ 99 today."
The film trade analyst further said: "[Week 1; re-release] Fri 20 lacs, Sat 32 lacs, Sun 38 lacs, Mon 20 lacs, Tue 18 lacs, Wed 15 lacs, Thu 14 lacs. Total: ₹ 1.57 cr. #India biz. #Boxoffice."
Veer-Zaara is a 2004 Indian Hindi-language epic romantic drama film directed and produced by Yash Chopra, from a screenplay written by his son Aditya Chopra.
The movie featured Khan, Zinta and Rani Mukherji in the lead roles.
The film is considered one of the major hits in Khan's career.
The love saga was originally released on November 12, 2004 during the Diwali festival.
The movie centred around the love story of an Indian soldier, played by Khan, and a Pakistani woman (played by Zeinta).
The two lovers were torn apart after Khan's was imprisoned.
Rani Mukherji, who played the role of a lawyer, fought to unite the lovers.
