Abhishek Sharma, Varun Chakravarthy power India to decimate England in first T20I
Kolkata/IBNS: Abhishek Sharma's fiery 79 from 34 balls and Varun Chakravarthy's three wickets were the highlights of India's sweeping seven-wicket victory against England in the inaugural T20I match at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Wednesday.

India chased down England's easy target of 133 in just 12.5 overs with seven wickets in hand.
India scored 133/3 banking on Sharma's knock that almost single-handedly steered the hosts to the victory.
Sharma was apty supported by wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson, who slammed 26 from 20 balls until he was dismissed by Jofra Archer in the fifth over.
Archer followed up Samson's wicket with another scalp eliminating India captain Suryakumar Yadav for a duck in the same over.
Earlier in the winter evening, India bowled out the mighty England to only 132 in 20 overs after winning the toss and choosing to bowl first.
Chakrabarthy led the spin battery with three wickets that included the top scorer, England captain Jos Buttler, whose battle for the visitors ended at 68 off 44 balls.
Arshdeep Singh bowled tight to pick two wickets for 17 runs in four overs to support India's campaign against the star-studded English batting.
Axar Patel and allrounder Hardik Pandya also picked two wickets each.
