Arunachal Pradesh powerlifters bring home 5 gold medals
Itanagar/IBNS: Rade Rallen and Tage Rimo, powerlifters from Arunachal Pradesh, were successful in the recently concluded North-India Bench Press, Deadlift, and Powerlifting Championship held in Jammu's Saraswati Dham.

Collectively, they won six medals, five of which were gold, reported The Arunachal Times.
The Arunachal Powerlifting Association stated Tage Rimo achieved a gold medal in each of the following categories: bench press, deadlift, and full powerlifting.
He successfully lifted 95 kgs in bench press, 187.5 kgs in deadlift, and 140 kgs in squat, amounting to a total of 422.5 kgs in full powerlifting.
In the unequipped junior category of the competition, Rade Rallen and Tage Rimo both participated and achieved impressive results.
Rallen won a gold medal in bench press and deadlift, as well as a silver medal in the full powerlifting category, weighing 93 kg.
He lifted 110 kgs in bench press, 190 kgs in deadlift, and 180 kgs in squat, summing up to a total of 480 kgs in full powerlifting.
Similarly, Rimo also competed in the same category and emerged victorious with one gold medal each in bench press, deadlift, and full powerlifting, lifting a total of 422.5 kgs.
