India look to set massive target for Bangladesh riding on Gill and Pant's knocks
Chennai/IBNS: Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant powered India to set a massive target against Bangladesh in the first Test in Chennai on Saturday.

At lunch on day 3, India scored 205/3, courtesy unbeaten knocks of Gill (86) and Pant (82).
India are currently ahead of Bangladesh by 432 runs.
Earlier, India bowled out Bangladesh for just 149 in the first innings of the inaugural Test in Chennai on Friday.
Allrounder Shakib Al Hasan (32) was the top scorer for the visitors.

Apart from Bumrah who scalped four wickets for 50 runs, Ravindra Jadeja, Akash Deep and Mohammed Siraj shared two wickets each.
India were bowled out for 376 in the first innings.

Ravindra Jadeja missed his century as he was dismissed for 86 from 124 balls. Ravichandran Ashwin was the top scorer for India with 113 from 133 balls.
Hasan Mahmud picked five wickets conceding 83 runs for Bangladesh.
