Salt, Kohli power RCB to thumping win over RR
Jaipur/IBNS: Phil Salt's assault on Rajasthan Royals bowlers followed by Virat Kohli's steady knock ensured Royals Challengers Bangalore to a convincing 9-wicket victory in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match here on Sunday.

Salt hit 5 fours and 6 sixes to launch an unsparing early attack on RR bowlers in a big boost to the visitors' chase for 174.
The Welsh cricketer, who has scored 208 runs in IPL 2025 so far, slammed 65 off 33 balls dampening RR's hope.
After Salt departed at 92-1 in 8.4 overs, Kohli anchored the innings, partnered Devdutt Padikkal (unbeaten 40 off 28 balls) and remained unbeaten at 62 off 45 balls to see RCB (175-1) home with more than two overs to spare.
Earlier, India's young batting star Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 75 off 47 balls (10 fours and 2 sixes) to help RR reach a modest total of 173-4 in 20 overs.
