Accidental fire gutted six shops in Hapania market
In an accidental fire, six shops in Hapani Bazar under Amatali police station of West Tripura district completely gutted into ashes on Saturday morning.
Sources said that fire erupted from a tiffin shop and within minutes, the engulf spread to nearby six shops when a LPG cylinder burst.
Amidst hue and cry and panic over the blast of LPG cylinder, firefighters rushed to the spot and doused the fire.
Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC), Dipak Majumder along with local MLA Mina Rani Sarkar also visited and met all victim traders. They also assured to ensure government support to victim traders.
