Rescheduled examination of the Sub Zonal Development Officer (SZDO) & Deputy Principal Officer (DYPO) will take place on July 14. The announcement was made by the Chairman of Recruitment Board, who is also a Deputy CEO Budhilian Hrangkhawl during a press conference held at the administrative building in Khumulwng on Tuesday.
The TTAADC recruitment Board has announced the rescheduled date of the SZDO-DYPO examination to July 14, 2024. The examination, initially postponed due to an answer key leak, will proceed with the previously issued admit cards and designated examination centers.
Hrangkhawl confirmed the new examination date and emphasized that the admit cards and exam centers allocated to candidates will remain unchanged. In order to enhance the transparency of the recruitment process, the board has decided to introduce Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheets for the examination. Additionally, 15 marks will be allocated for the interview or personality test.
The interview will be conducted in rooms equipped with CCTV facilities, said Hrangkhawl. He further added that all examination-related documents would be kept in strong rooms at the district headquarters, with adequate CCTV and security measures in place. The purpose of this procedure is to prevent further violations and to maintain the confidentiality of the test materials.
Board members have urged candidates to familiarize themselves with the OMR sheets and how to utilize them effectively. This announcement comes as a relief to many candidates who faced uncertainty following the examination delay after the answer key leak episode.
