Assam Rifles conducts medical camp for Bru community in Kaskaupara
Assam Rifles conducted a successful medical camp for Bru people in Kaskaupara village at Damcherra under North Tripura district on January 17.
Assam Rifles through a press statement said that the camp was aimed at facilitating health and well-being of people of Bru community.
The medical camp brought together a professional medical team which provided free consultations, essential medicines and health awareness sessions. Residents of Bru camp benefitted greatly from the initiative, which focused on addressing primary healthcare needs, offering preventive care guidance and emphasized the importance of community well-being.
The event witnessed participation of 312 individuals including 132 men, 97 women and 83 children who expressed their gratitude, appreciating Assam Rifles’ efforts to bring healthcare services directly at their doorstep. Assam Rifles remains steadfast in its mission to serve and uplift communities across the region through various outreach programs.
