Assam Rifles, Customs seize Yaba tablets worth of Rs 2.88 crore from Mohanpur
In yet another success, Assam Rifles in a joint operation with Customs Department seized 16,000 Yaba tablets worth Rs 2.88 crore from general area of Sidhai Mohanpur under West Tripura district on July 15.
Assam Rifles through a press statement said that based on credible information, a joint operation was launched by Assam Rifles and Customs Department which led to the seizure of 16,000 Yaba tablets. The consignment worth 2.88 crore was handed over to Customs Department for further investigation and legal proceedings. Assam Rifles continues its commitment for a drug free society.
