BJP must win all ADC seats for developed future of next generation: CM
People have lost faith in CPIM and present ADC rulers: CM
Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha on Sunday said that if the Janajati people want a secure and developed future for the next generation, then the BJP must win all 28 seats of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) in the upcoming election.
Dr Saha said this while welcoming 153 voters into the BJP at Borakha under Mandwi in West District on Sunday. He said that today’s gathering proves what will be witnessed in the coming days.
“Khumulwng has already started shaking. People have understood how the CPI (M) ruled the state using the Tiprasa people and neglected them. And now you have also lost faith in the present party that has been running the TTAADC. The belief and trust are nowhere on them. Wherever we are going, people are showing their faith in the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” said Dr Saha.
D Saha said that many janajati people were killed in Mandwi during the CPI (M) tenure.
“An unrest was created. In 1980, riots were held where over 3,000 people were killed. When you need to develop a state or nation, peace is required. If peace is not there, development is not possible. In our state, law and order has significantly improved. In the past 20 years, Tripura has registered the lowest crime rate. NITI Aayog described Tripura as a frontrunner state. And all this has been possible because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The main mantra of the BJP is to work for the people, while the CPI(M) used to exploit and fool people. BJP never speaks lies,” said Dr Saha.
Dr Saha informed that after Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power, janajati people have been witnessing respect, development, and progress.
“Without the Tripura government, development of the TTAADC is not possible. Investors will not come to the ADC as they first want the consent of the state government, and they have faith in us. In the 2025–26 budget, we have given over 40% of the budget to the ADC. If you want to make the next generation more developed, we must ensure the victory of BJP candidates in all 28 seats in the ADC. The state is witnessing massive development after the BJP formed the government under the leadership of PM Modi. Wherever our BJP janajati workers came under attack, I was the first to visit. What kind of politics is this? CPI (M) and Congress used to do politics of violence and unrest,” he said.
During the event, BJP General Secretary Bipin Debbarma, Tribal Welfare Minister Bikas Debbarma, and others were present.
